John Stephenson is the founder of Stephenson & Company and formed the firm in the fall of 2024. John is a consulting industry veteran and is a former Transportation Specialist at BMO Capital Markets. He has extensive knowledge of the transportation/logistics industry as well as capital and commodity markets.

John created and led the Gas and Power Marketing and Trading Industry Benchmarking Study at Navigant Consulting. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a MBA from INSEAD, as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations.
